Creating a 'save' point

(Applicable for version 1.1.1)

No, this is not a tutorial on how to save your game, well it sort of is... Basically, Fieldrunners saves your progress if you exit the game or return to the main menu. But sometimes you may want to retry a round or try out another tactic without having to start from the beginning. This is particularly useful if you are attempting a perfect score following one of our map strategy guides (if you misplace a tower, or build in the wrong order and some fieldrunners get through.)

To Create the Save Point: Press the Cog (settings) button and return to the Title Screen (select YES). This will now save your game and you can resume from the title screen.

To Load the Save Point: Once you realize that you want to reload from your save point, you need to force-quit the game. Either by using the Force :) or pressing and holding the "HOME" button on your iPhone for 8-10 seconds (until the game quits and you are back in the iPhone App screen.) Start Fieldrunners again and select Resume. This will load the game from your Save Point rather than when you actually quit the game.

How this works: Force quitting skips the autosave that Fieldrunners would normally do (which would overwrite your save point), hence the saved game is when you 'saved' it.

Problems: Well, some people might call this cheating, other people might say that it's a workaround for the lack of manual save or the lack of a fast-forward speed increase button. Either way, use at your own discretion, we won't tell anyone.
