If you want to play a real RTS with a working UI, then Warfare Incorporated is the only real choice on the iPhone at the moment. The gameplay is what you would expect from a 90's era RTS like Dune 2 or Warcraft 1, ie: not much in the way of advanced graphics, unit types or AI, but lots of fast action RTS fun. The interface is pretty much as good as can be; control over your units, construction and the map are excellent. It could use unit grouping, and sometimes the selection lasso is a bit weird, but especially with the downloadable custom missions and the possibility of upcoming multiplayer, every RTS fan should have Warfare Incorporated on their iPhone.
