Although not strictly a strategy game, Simcity is one of the most in-depth and full featured iPhone games available. Very little has been removed from the PC/Console version and it's still a delight to play. There are still some bugs in the game, and sometimes it runs/loads slowly, but many of the issues have been corrected in recent updates. Overall, this is a great full game that you can play and replay for a long time. We are proud to award the City Building Medal to Simcity and the EA team.

I can't see how you guys can rate this game high. It's full of bugs, and frequently crashes. It's development was rushed and it shows.

It's true, when originally released "Simcity" was very buggy and had a lot of problems once you really got into the game. But with the recent updates, many of those bugs and issues have been fixed. Sure, there are still some problems, but we've been testing it out for a few weeks and the game is a lot of fun and works well. Personally, I haven't had any crashes, but the mass transit is still a problem. Keep in mind that it's one of the most complex games released on the iPhone, so the fact that it's still this good is quite an accomplishment.

Thanks for the comment, you brought up an important point. Developers should be more careful when porting games to the iPhone and test them well before releasing.

I bought this game this last week and all I have to say is that it's amazing. The only problem I have had with it was that it crashed (not a lot, only twice -one after 3 hours of gaming :S -sadly i didn't save).

So, I'd say buy it, the crashing is really not a big deal, just make sure you save once in a while ;) or it could get annoying to create your city and then lose all of it because you didn't save.

@JBPR make sure you reset your iPhone after installing the game and install the latest updates. Hope that helps!
