Galcon is an interesting real-time strategy game that is a bit hard to describe in text. The objective is to take over all the planets on the screen by sending fleets of little ships to each planet. The graphics are a bit simple, but the controls are very intuitive and you'll get a hold on this fast paced game quickly. Watch some of the videos below to get better idea.

Nice. I'd love to find some iphone strategy games that have some decent depth -- the kind of thing you can play for a few hours without getting bored. Keep posting reviews!
Yes, there is definitely a growing community that would love to see more full featured strategy games on the iPhone. There are a few titles coming out in the next few months that might just satisfy this demand, or at least bring it to the mainstream. For now, there's always Simcity (review coming soon!)
Dude, I LOVE this game. It's got all the elements of a classic game in its simultaneous achievement of simplicity and depth. True, there's no narrative or story behind a bunch of triangles moving from circle to circle, but you instantly and intuitively "get it" (inserting your own drama) and want to play it over an over again - kind of like discovering chess for the first time. It's the best network gaming experience on the iPhone.
Galcon is THE iphone game. I've spent over $100 on a whole range of top-rated games and Galcon is by far the best for gameplay, strategy and long-term enjoyment.
Like the game of Go, Galcon is very simple to learn, yet delivers layers upon layers of tactics, and with all the adrenaline of real-time competition against multiple human opponents.
For once, 'Awesome' is the right word.
